Urethral Stricture Disease
Scar tissue in the urethra can narrow the channel, causing weak stream, straining, incomplete emptying and recurrent urinary tract infections. Treatment ranges from endoscopic incision to urethroplasty, a durable open reconstruction.
Peyronie’s Disease
A buildup of fibrous plaque in the penis that causes curvature, pain during erection and difficulty with intimacy. We offer both medical therapy and surgical correction, including plaque incision or excision with grafting and penile prosthesis placement when appropriate.
Erectile Dysfunction Requiring Surgery

Traumatic Injuries
Reconstruction after motor vehicle accidents, falls, sports injuries, pelvic fractures or penetrating trauma affecting the kidneys, ureters, bladder, urethra, penis or scrotum.
Bladder and Urinary Fistulas
Abnormal connections between the bladder and adjacent organs, often following pelvic surgery, radiation for prostate cancer or other pelvic disease. Surgical repair restores normal anatomy and stops chronic leakage.
Congenital and Birth Defects
Adult repair of conditions such as hypospadias, epispadias and other congenital anomalies of the male urinary tract or reproductive organs, including revisions of prior childhood surgeries.
Neurologic Conditions Affecting the Bladder
Bladder dysfunction caused by spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, spina bifida or stroke may benefit from reconstruction such as bladder augmentation or urinary diversion to protect the kidneys and improve continence.
Gender Affirming Procedures
Consultation and coordination for select gender affirming urologic procedures as part of a multidisciplinary care plan.
Our Approach
Reconstructive urology cases are rarely one size fits all. Every plan begins with a detailed history, targeted imaging and often cystoscopy so we understand your anatomy before we recommend a procedure. Whenever possible we choose the least invasive option that will produce a durable result. When open reconstruction is the better path, our fellowship trained specialists have the experience to deliver it.
You will meet the surgeon who will perform your procedure, review realistic outcomes together and receive a clear recovery plan with a direct line to our team for questions.
What to Expect During Recovery
Recovery varies with the procedure. Endoscopic treatments such as internal urethrotomy usually mean same day discharge and a return to routine activity within a week. Open reconstructions like urethroplasty typically involve a short hospital stay, a urinary catheter for two to three weeks and a gradual return to activity over four to six weeks. Peyronie’s disease surgery and penile prosthesis placement often allow same day or next day discharge with a structured return to intimacy at about six weeks. Your written aftercare instructions will cover wound care, activity restrictions, catheter care when applicable and warning signs that need prompt attention.
