Catherine Metzger, MD earned her medical degree from the Jacobs School of Medicine at the University at Buffalo. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai West Hospital in New York City. She went on to complete a three-year fellowship in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Mount Sinai Hospital.

Her specific clinical interests include pelvic organ prolapse, urinary incontinence, vaginal fistula, and bladder pain syndrome. 

Dr. Metzger has received recognition for excellence in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and is a member of the American Urogynecologic society. She is board certified in OBGYN by the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Her clinical passion lies in tailoring the care plan for each patient to their individual needs. She is skilled in minimally invasive surgical approaches including traditional laparoscopy, robotic surgery, and vaginal approach surgery. She is excited to be back in Western NY to improve the quality of life of women in this area with any pelvic floor concerns.
